Hand of Hope

Containers of Compassion

Containers of Compassion is a branch of the activities of the American University Baptist & International Ministry (AUBIM), which is a Ministry or Chaplaincy with American University students, attached to District of Columbia Baptist Convention.

The mission of Containers of Compassion is to make concrete the biblical passage of Matthew 25: 35-36 which says: “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”

In short, with our modest social actions in partnership with you, we bring hope and life where there is despair, disease and death.
